Hong Kong-Singapore Air Travel Bubble set to kick off from Nov 22Longing for a trip to Hong Kong after being grounded by the COVID-19 pandemic for months? Here’s the good news. Detailed arrangements of the bilateral Air Travel Bubble (ATB) between Hong Kong and Singapore have been announced. This is the very first ATB for Hong Kong. It reflects the Government's hope to progressively restore the city's economic activities amid the long-drawn battle against COVID-19. The arrangement also highlights the close connection between Hong Kong and the ASEAN. New hygiene protocol for visitorsA new standardised hygiene protocol for tourism-related industries will be launched to bolster visitors’ confidence in travelling to Hong Kong. Launched by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, the protocol will provide unified guidelines on hygiene and anti-epidemic measures for tourism-related industries. More than 1,800 businesses and outlets have expressed interest in adopting the protocol in their business. The HKSAR Government is also exploring facilitated travel arrangements with other jurisdictions. We look forward to seeing you in Hong Kong soon! |
